Finally got done with this wallpaper today, and I personally can say i love how it turned out. From a series stand point, this is just an image i loved a ran with it from OP2 of Soul Eater, Maka being my favorite character and most Soul Eater wallpapers/images being on the more light hearted side i decided to take it down a darker path.
This image was drawn with my wacom tablet in Illustrator CS4 using a screenshot as a ref. but not traced. After drawing i went back fixed most lines to make them smoother and what not taking the color from the screen shot. Same with the background, both being vectors. The rest of the colors/blood/rain was done in Photoshop CS4. Overall about a months worth of work from pre to post production. This was also my first image totally done 100% in CS4 programs ^^ Special Thanks to Jenn, Hollie, and the rest of the gang for their suggestions and critques. |
